I am an Occupational Therapist practicing in British Columbia. I am a full member of the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia, the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. Since graduating from the University of Alberta, Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, in 1989, I have assessed and treated clients with a variety of neurological (including brain injury) and orthopaedic deficits, and worked extensively in home care, both privately employed and employed by the health region. I have trained in acute care, long term care and psychiatry, and worked in rehabilitation settings and in the community, assessing and treating clients in their homes and work situations. I have provided clinical placement teaching to occupational therapy students from the University of British Columbia and the University of Manitoba.
