I am a Physiotherapist and Rehabilitation Consultant practising in British Columbia. I am a member of the College of Physical Therapists of British Columbia, the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada and the International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals. I graduated from the University of Alberta, School of Rehabilitation Therapy with a diploma in Physiotherapy in 1972 and received my Bachelor of Health Science in 2000 from the Open Learning Agency of British Columbia. I have worked in rehabilitation centers for neurological disorders; in intermediate and extended care facilities, at Macdonald House, home of a group of traumatic brain injured clients, at Nigel House, a home for multiple handicapped young adults, and extensively in home care, both privately employed and employed by the health region. I have provided clinical placement teaching to physiotherapy students from a number of Canadian Universities.
